Handmade Baby Shower Invitations

I am honored to host my cousin’s first baby shower.  Although all the stages of a child’s development are special, there is something about babies that always melts my heart.  After having three children, even a baby’s cry is innocent and adorable to me for some reason and I am still amazed.  Amazed by their intelligence, physical ability, and miniature size.  Almost everything they do is just too cute.  The way that they are formed is miraculous and is a great evidence for a creator.  I believe a baby is a gift from God, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward” (Psalm 127:3).  My Cousin couldn’t be more happy about the new Love Bug and so are we!  I wanted to share the baby shower invitations that I made for those of you who are hosting a shower or expecting a new little Love Bug.

First you will need Adobe Reader X  to edit or add your text.  There are 2 different invites.  One is more hands on and the other can just be printed and cut out. Just click on the image you want to download the template.  These are for private and non-profit use.  Please do not host these anywhere without permission.

Just print on cute paper and cut out.

To add the wings, make sure you score the paper before putting in your brad.

Here is my favorite one:

This would have been a lot easier to do if I had a craft knife like this one:

Add some Pretty Handmade Envelopes and your Love Bug invitations are complete.
You could also use these for a little one’s birthday.

I’m going to share some of the Baby Shower Fun so check back if you would like to see more.
